Ahmad Shirazi

Director, Producer, Videographer, Editor

Ahmad Shirazi has worked for over four decades in New York City as a film and sound editor on feature films and documentaries with many of cinema’s finest directors, such as Sidney Lumet, Milos Forman, Ron Howard, Jim Jarmusch, Brian De Palma and George Roy Hill.

His documentary credits include No Nukes (film editor), Riding The Rails (sound designer/supervising sound editor), The Kid Stays in the Picture (supervising sound editor) and several PBS American Masters specials.

A union member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild (MPEG) and the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), Ahmad is the recipient of a Daytime Emmy Award for the ABC Afterschool Special All The Glitters.
