In 2004, 14 women, from varied backgrounds and ranging in age from their 20s to their 80s, traveled from the United States to Palestine, where they witnessed the daily struggle of life under Israeli occupation.

In solidarity, the group joined the Palestinian people in direct, non-violent actions and protests against the Apartheid Wall, military occupation and colonization. This journey was powerful and pivotal for them all, galvanizing their commitment to fighting for peace with justice — in Palestine, and everywhere in the world.
